Under the guidance of David Fiddyment, the initial Board President, Roseville Community Projects Incorporated (now Blue Line Arts) held its first outreach display on February 1st, 1966, inside an old Bank of America building in Downtown Roseville. With the help of devoted board members, volunteers, and donations, the organization has grown throughout the years while keeping true to its original mission: to support the arts.

Roseville Community Projects Incorporated purchased the Haman House in 1974 to house the Roseville Arts Center. For the next 30 years, this building will host exhibitions to benefit the community's visual and performing arts. With Placer County's fast growth at the turn of the century, the Blue Line Arts board of directors realized that it needed to adapt in order to fulfill its mission. In 2003, the Board of Directors decided that the art center needed its own place to grow. Roseville Arts renamed itself Blue Line Arts and opened its new, state-of-the-art gallery in February 2008 after selling its prior location and completing a successful capital campaign. This new 5,000-square-foot structure featured an exhibition space for established and emerging artists, as well as a learning center for children and adults. The Roseville Arts Center had yet another name change in February 2013, this time from "Blue Line Gallery" to "Blue Line Arts," to commemorate the gallery's fifth anniversary. This modification was made not simply to give more options for Placer County citizens, but also to bring the Roseville Arts Center back to its original objective.
